Owner and president of BMK Associates, Brian Dalmaso’s experience began in the mechanical engineering industry and progressed to the home design and construction industry. He spent the first 10 years of his career at the General Electric Company in the engineering department of the Navy and Small steam turbine division.

After the closing of GE’s Fitchburg based plant in 1988, Mr. Dalmaso continued on in the engineering field with a start up company that focused on the design and build of custom automation equipment, primarily in the photovoltaic and super conducting wire industries.

During the next five years, Mr. Dalmaso furthered his experience and education in residential architecture and construction and started a side business, BMK Associates a residential design and build company.  Upon realizing the truly rewarding experience of designing and building homes, Mr. Dalmaso decided to pursue home design and construction as a full time endeavor, and left the mechanical engineering field. Translating concepts and ideas from the mechanical engineering industry to the construction industry,

Mr. Dalmaso found success in providing the design and build of custom homes. From framing and stonework to hardwood floors, trim and tile, Mr. Dalmaso has physically performed all aspects of custom home building and has the experience to lead the BMK team of contractors with quality and integrity.
